Welcome to 221b baker Street please come in, this is the home of Mr Sherlock Holmes. Let me introduce myself my name is Reginald Lee the chairmen of the Sherlock Holmes Society in Cheltenham but we do cover the whole of Gloucestershire. If you live outside this area or in another country then you are most welcome to check out this website. I hope to offer a members only area in the future so anyone who is a member can enter with a password.
Sherlock Holmes was a fictional detective written by Sir Arthur Coyan Doyle back in 1886 the first story written was A Study in Scarlet. Sir Arthur Coyan Doyle was in studying in a university in Edinburgh University where he was taught by a Dr Joseph Bell. Which it is believed that Sherlock Holmes is based on; also Dr Watson could be based on himself.
London Marathon 2010
As chairman of this society I would like to ask all members and any visitors to this site that I am walking the London Marathon 2010 in April to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. I will be dressed as Sherlock Holmes so if anyone would like to donate any funds please click on the link
